Christian's Corner - Optec USA's Christian Sharple Reflects on 2011 and Beyond

Hi Everyone!!! Optec USA has had a very successful 2011 year, and we would like to thank YOU. Although I’m an “In-House” Sales Representative I have loved taking the opportunity to travel a few times this year.

Attending the 37th Academy Annual Meeting in Orlando was a great experience. During the show I was able to meet a lot of new customers and also had the chance to meet up with some old friends as well.

The AOPA event in Vegas was amazing, traveling to Vegas alone was quite an experience. During this show I managed to meet many Optec customers for across the US as well as internationally. It’s always a pleasure to meet people from other countries and learn more about their culture and the way the orthotics industry differs from country to country.

And what better way to wrap up the year rather than in your hometown? Atlanta Medtrade not only gave me the opportunity help represent the company but also made me more aware of the competitive bidding issues going on today. With all the information the associations provided for me during the show, I plan to help Optec’s customers become more aware of the issues arising. We all have to work together to strengthen our industry.
As Optec continues to grow we hope that you will grow with us. Not only are we going to be more involved in this social media frenzy but we will also be launching several new lines of products in 2012! So please continue to follow Optec and my blog to keep up to date with our new products, services and helpful advice so we can all make 2012 an even more successful in the year.
