I have been with Optec USA for almost two years and I always look forward to building stronger relationships with my customers and helping expand their product line for the New Year. I'm excited to write my first blog for 2012 and present our NEW Gladiator knee braces.

I have never been one for “New Year’s Resolutions” but this year I have set goals for myself on a personal and professional level. With that being said, I am proud to work for a company that also has similar goals in mind; to be better and work harder and than the previous year.

I am sure you have all heard the “buzz” going on about Optec USA’s new Gladiator knee brace line. There are many reasons that an orthotist or physician would choose to have an anterior thoracic extension put on a patient's TLSO.  It may be to get the perfect amount of extension or possibly to make the experience of wearing a back brace more palatable to the patient and cooler for the wearer if they live in a warm climate.  Whatever the reason, many braces are fit with either a Sternal Pad Kit (SPK) or Pectoral Pad Kit (PPK).  But Optec USA has presented an impressive improvement on these standard models.

Optec USA's Stealth in LSO and TLSO is one of the most versatile orthopedic braces in our catalog.
