Prefab Edge & Primo Hip SPICA Brace

Edge & Primo with hip SPICA can be custom or prefabricated and are ideal for immobilization in the treatment of lumbar instability and lumbosacral fusion with anchoring to the sacrum. Motion restrictions include flexion/extension, rotation and lateral control.

TLC & ATM hip joints provide infinite abduction & flexion/extension control. TLC provides full-time abduction while ATM joint can be set to abduct and rotate only when patient is sits thus promoting normal ambulation. The Edge closure system is designed to provide hydrostatic lift to relieve pressure on the lumbar spine, providing a better fit and limiting migration.
